Last night all 7 cottages and Alison, our assistant director (JD was sick and not able to join), came together for a potluck dinner. Best. Idea. Ever. My cottage(Cottage 4) was a bit nervous due to our lack of culinary skills, but we even managed to whip up a pretty good hotdish. The menu looked something like this:
Cottage 1: Pasta salad and carrot cakeCottage 2: Chicken and vegetable soup and jello with whipped cream
Cottage 3: Pizza and peach cobbler
Cottage 4: Chicken/rice/veggie hotdish and Kathleen's peanut butter chocolate cups
Cottage 5: Fried rice and crepes with cinnamon & sugar apples
Cottage 6: Soda bread, mac n' cheese, and fudge
Jackie's mom was visiting and even provided a chicken!

I sampled a little bit of everything and it was DELICIOUS!
